Skip-tracing

Skip-tracing finds contact details for property owners — phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses. This lets you reach out directly without going through an estate agent.

How it works

  1. Open any property detail page.
  2. Click Skip-trace owner in the outreach section.
  3. The system queries licensed data partners to find contact details associated with the registered owner.
  4. Results appear within seconds — typically a phone number, email, and/or postal address.

What you get

  • Corporate owners: Company registered address, director names, and Companies House filing data.
  • Private owners: Postal address (from Land Registry), plus phone and email from licensed data partners where available.

Hit rates

Not every trace returns results. Typical hit rates:

  • Corporate owners: ~90% (Companies House data is comprehensive)
  • Private owners: ~60-70% (depends on the individual's data footprint)

Credits and limits

Skip-traces consume credits from your monthly allowance:

  • Free: No skip-traces.
  • Starter: 20 per month.
  • Pro: 100 per month.
  • Power: 500 per month.

GDPR considerations

Skip-traced data is sourced from licensed providers who process data under legitimate interest. You are responsible for using the data in compliance with GDPR when contacting individuals. See Compliance & GDPR for details.
